With an all-out effort, Murcia Promesas's Carlos Augusto Arósio threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gav Smith, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Caetano Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Moya having to make a save. In the 20thth minute of the game Marco de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murcia Promesas's Manuel Moya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Moya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Coronel Durango mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murcia Promesas and the Zemantauskas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Coronel Durango got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Dé Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zemantauskas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Siqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Zemantauskas FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Zemantauskas FC's Marco de Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosario Escobar in the 33rd minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gav Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gav Smith in the 41st minute. Gav Smith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Carlos Augusto Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gav Smith made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Marco de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zemantauskas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Otero Raya got a free kick in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gav Smith in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Murcia Promesas booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco de Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Moya having to make a save. In the 75th minute, one of Murcia Promesas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Murcia Promesas. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Zemantauskas FC's William Cavalcante got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Manuel Moya. In the 82nd minute, Marco de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zemantauskas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Eugênio Lima hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosario Escobar in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Arósio saved Zemantauskas FC from getting behind. Zemantauskas FC's Marco de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dé Siqueira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Moya came out and tried to block the shot, but Dé Siqueira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. Abram Elano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Arósio having to interfere. The Zemantauskas FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
