Jermaine Richmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Cornoiu in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Cornoiu came free, but Jermaine Richmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Thiago Almada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Richmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Cornoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sung McKinley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Thiago Almada got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tigran Kirakosyan got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GuateFortín's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, William Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot. GuateFortín's supporters rose to their feet, but William Villanueva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Barovero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Khachatryan's Tigran Kirakosyan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Barovero. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon Yost in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merlin Castro. GuateFortín's attentive Ruben Huezo managed to snatch the ball when Bin Baresi made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goalkeeper Jermaine Richmond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Ángel Benito. When the referee ended the match the Khachatryan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
