Laurențiu Pârâianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vali Cornoiu in the 7th minute. Vali Cornoiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laurențiu Pârâianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vali Cornoiu got free with Laurențiu Pârâianu in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Vali Cornoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurențiu Pârâianu was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Nicodim came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Huezo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Vali Cornoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hrvoje Prodanović hit a great ball. Nichifor Sabău struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Marcelo Barovero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DINAMO. In the 25th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Piersic to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Abel Ribeiro got a free kick in the 27th minute. Vali Cornoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Vali Cornoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vali Cornoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Laurențiu Pârâianu made a huge save. Petru Avramescu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Vali Cornoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laurențiu Pârâianu. Vali Cornoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vali Cornoiu made a kick off. Vali Cornoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurențiu Pârâianu having to interfere. Laurențiu Pârâianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Cornoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vali Cornoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurențiu Pârâianu was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. GuateFortín made a substitution. Edgardo Murgas replaced Abel Ribeiro. GuateFortín's Dirk Behrens was substituted for Thiago Almada. Miguel Ángel Benito took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurențiu Pârâianu. Laurențiu Pârâianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. DINAMO's Laurențiu Pârâianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ángel Benito in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the DINAMO defense, Miguel Ángel Benito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurențiu Pârâianu. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurențiu Pârâianu should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Laurențiu Pârâianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Sarbelio Ayala got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Nicodim to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Avramescu to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the DINAMO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GuateFortín.
