In the 15th minute, Murcia Promesas's Rosario Escobar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermelando Palacios. Hermelando Palacios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Murcia Promesas booed when Fesport FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Dean didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Cazorla to strike the kick off in the second half. Gav Smith's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermelando Palacios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Baldovino Nueva lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Manuel Moya. Many of Fesport FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fesport FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Murcia Promesas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
