An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Opincaru in the 18th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute.
