An unexpectedly hard shot by Metin Tekin in the 37th minute of play forced Jupiter Siemiatycze's goalkeeper Dobromir Klawki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Murat Dogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Jupiter Siemiatycze's Dobromir Klawki got control of the ball when Murat Dogan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
