The Zorongo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Carrasco should have stopped the shot. Chen Peng Bin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Carrasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Luganeros AFC were awarded a corner. Jorge Abreu went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Samuel Olayo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Octavio Peruanton kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Moczkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Henry Carrasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chen Peng Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
