Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bogren in the 6th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Kristoffer Västerstrand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 7 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Micucci came free, but Kristoffer Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Berart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Västerstrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bogren in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Lidköping's Stefan Bogren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Eden got free with Kristoffer Västerstrand in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Micucci in the 24th minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Stefan Bogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Alessandro Micucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Västerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Martin Mutumba notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand. Kristoffer Västerstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faas Wilkes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Mårtensson in the 39th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Tage Glanselius got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stayko Vakareliyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Mårtensson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Stefan Bogren made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Ekrot. After 69 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Tage Glanselius. Tage Glanselius's late challenge caught a Lidköping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tage Glanselius helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Glanselius to maneuver through the defense. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Genaro Remicio replaced Faas Wilkes. In the 72nd minute, Tage Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristoffer Västerstrand came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson. But to his dismay, Christoffer Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 80th minute, Fernan Berart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vykans Vikingar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Bogren in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Berart in the 86th minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Västerstrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Berart's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Fernan Berart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Stayko Vakareliyski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristoffer Västerstrand came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart. But to his dismay, Fernan Berart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Lidköping's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
