The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Mårtensson in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Stefan Bogren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Basso, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Mårtensson in the 42nd minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Paublo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With a little luck, The Shadows's Marcos Basso got control of the ball when Adam Mårtensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Bogren got free with Marcos Basso in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Bogren came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Bogren in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Lidköping got a corner. The Shadows's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stayko Vakareliyski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Rikard Blom drilling the ball in to score 3-1 behind The Shadows's goalkeeper. Stefan Bogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Marcos Basso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute of the match, Gencer Hisarcık tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristoffer Västerstrand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 69 minutes of play, Lidköping's Stefan Bogren made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Basso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Shadows's Robin Cane was substituted for Paulo Paublo. In the 76th minute, Jens-Åke Larsfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Shadows's Herman Lindell was substituted for Gencer Hisarcık. Kristoffer Västerstrand was a little too slow when Herbert Holmgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 4-2.
