Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Breandan Scully got the match started through his kick off. Mayo's Breandan Scully was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 8th minute, Bardain Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tiburcio Salbatore came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Reyes Osos Polares HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Salbatore couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Rian McJohn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rian McJohn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Binnech McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Mateo Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breandan Scully in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Urre saved Reyes Osos Polares HC from getting behind. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mayo's goalkeeper Brecc Palmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brak Morrison hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Breandan Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mayo's Brecc Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Rodas in the 33rd minute of play. Reyes Osos Polares HC's Leopoldo Rufio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brecc Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Salbatore in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Mayo's Arnold McPhilip seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arnold McPhilip the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mayo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnold McPhilip had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 42 minutes into the game, one of Mayo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
52 minutes into the match, Brak Morrison had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Urre. Reyes Osos Polares HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brak Morrison was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Bearach McCready kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Mayo's Bardain Hutton quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eulalio Piearres, made in the 60th minute of the game. Mayo's Brecc Palmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Mayo from getting a goal against them. After 65 played minutes Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Bardain Hutton. Tiburcio Salbatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute, Eulalio Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Bardain Hutton got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Rian McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mayo's Brecc Palmer got control of the ball when Albino Toribio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bearach McCready to maneuver through the defense. Brecc Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Salbatore in the 87th minute of the match. Mayo's Brecc Palmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Mayo from getting a goal against them. Mayo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
