Roland Alström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Åberg made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mats Hermansson immediately put the ball in play. After 28 played minutes Hala Madrid Iraki FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Åberg. If Peter Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Di Marzio in the 32nd minute of play. Mats Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Blomkvist came free, but Roland Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Hala Madrid Iraki FC and the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomero Ilazki might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Alström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Alström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fully deserved thier win.
