Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Gleb Elkibaev started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dmitriy Chkalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Elkibaev in the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goal looked a bit too open when Gleb Elkibaev came free, but Dmitriy Chkalov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkadiy Barbarash during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timur Chichko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimír Maslachenko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Gleb Elkibaev took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dmitriy Chkalov. Dmitriy Chkalov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vladimír Maslachenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Chichko in the 22nd minute of play. Dmitriy Chkalov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gleb Elkibaev in the 26th minute. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Dmitriy Chkalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram Boonen in the 28th minute of play. Vladimír Maslachenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timur Chichko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timur Chichko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Vladislav Popov scored to the left of an out of position Dmitriy Chkalov, making the score, 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper Dmitriy Chkalov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arkadiy Barbarash. Esperance's Arkadiy Barbarash got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Arkadiy Barbarash off the ground. Arkadiy Barbarash hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Esperance getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gleb Elkibaev hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timur Chichko made a kick off. Dmitriy Chkalov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladislav Popov went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Marcus Abrahamsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dmitriy Chkalov was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Bram Boonen might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dmitriy Chkalov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bram Boonen ran back to his position shaking his head. Dmitriy Chkalov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gleb Elkibaev in the 70th minute of the match. Dmitriy Chkalov came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Esperance's Gleb Elkibaev. But to his dismay, Gleb Elkibaev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Timur Chichko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vladimír Maslachenko was a little too slow when Zahar Gusev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 4-1. In the 91st minute Luciano Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Chkalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esperance's Gavriil Dolgachev got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Esperance were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
