After 3 played minutes RED KHAGAN got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal Deren. RED KHAGAN's Giotis Tripotseris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jessie Pinkman in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cláudio Furlan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vehdi Selçuk in the 6th minute of play forced Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by RED KHAGAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conrado Pernambucano was slow to take the kick. During this time Green Squad FC's players had a chance to rest. Gilvan Sanches was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Sebastian Vedillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Vedillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gilvan Sanches made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sebastian Vedillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Yılmaz Başdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Jessie Pinkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giotis Tripotseris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's Sebastian Vedillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilvan Sanches narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Vedillo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. In the 33rd minute of the match RED KHAGAN got a corner. Green Squad FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vehdi Selçuk ran over to the corner to take the kick. RED KHAGAN's Vehdi Selçuk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilvan Sanches in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Vedillo got free with Gilvan Sanches in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Yılmaz Başdemir notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches. Gilvan Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Vedillo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Vedillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Sanches was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baturay Zaim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilvan Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute.
