An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Pace in the 5th minute of play forced Ugonotti's goalkeeper Achille Giannetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Pace cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Achille Giannetta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 9 minutes into the match, Ugonotti's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Galli came free, but Achille Giannetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Achille Giannetta was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Torsten Henning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Cicchinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Achille Giannetta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Trento Calcio 1921's goalkeeper Mutlu Baykam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Juniors. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesur Atik in the 27th minute of play forced Trento Calcio 1921's goalkeeper Mutlu Baykam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Trento Calcio 1921 getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Florian Massimi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trento Calcio 1921's zone, Yu Wei Bo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mutlu Baykam came out of the goal and Yu Wei Bo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ugonotti's Vinícius Juniors slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mutlu Baykam. That made the score 1-3 after 33 minutes of play. Torsten Henning took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mutlu Baykam. Mutlu Baykam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 41 minutes into the match, Cesur Atik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mutlu Baykam, 3-3. Torsten Henning scored 4-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mutlu Baykam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-3.

In the 50th minute Torsten Henning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mutlu Baykam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ugonotti's Tal Heggit was substituted for Cesur Atik. After 59 minutes Ugonotti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fortunato Gatti who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ugonotti's goalie and right to Arturo Avesani. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ugonotti's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Trento Calcio 1921 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ralf Aasma hit a great ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trento Calcio 1921's goalkeeper Mutlu Baykam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ugonotti's Tal Heggit fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Trento Calcio 1921's Åke Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74thth minute Yu Wei Bo easily got through Trento Calcio 1921's defense and fired away a shot, but Mutlu Baykam leaped left and performed a fabulous save. 77 minutes into the game, Tal Heggit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Mutlu Baykam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Balázs Sass made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Trento Calcio 1921's Anfilogino Pace. Mutlu Baykam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Henning in the 82nd minute of the match. Tal Heggit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mutlu Baykam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mutlu Baykam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Henning, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ugonotti's Achille Giannetta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Ugonotti from getting a goal against them. Ugonotti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
