Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Damiano Mucci successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Aquile Azzurre's Damiano Mucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Frabetti in the 7th minute of play. Fausto De Marchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinç Dede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Campania Ponticelli defense, Dinç Dede kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto De Marchi. The Campania Ponticelli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto De Marchi should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Dinç Dede made a precise shot to the right of Fausto De Marchi. Campania Ponticelli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Fausto De Marchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinç Dede in the 22nd minute of play. Fausto De Marchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinç Dede's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match, Michael Scofield tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damiano Mucci saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Aquile Azzurre's Damiano Mucci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Aquile Azzurre from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Campania Ponticelli's Damiano Mucci threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Frabetti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 35 minutes Campania Ponticelli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Graziani who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinç Dede in the 40th minute of play forced Campania Ponticelli's goalkeeper Fausto De Marchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Dinç Dede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Aquile Azzurre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinç Dede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Dinç Dede made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto De Marchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinç Dede made a kick off. Giorgio Petrini hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Fausto De Marchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinç Dede, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fausto De Marchi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinç Dede in the 55th minute of the match. If Michael Scofield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Campania Ponticelli's Michael Scofield in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Aquile Azzurre's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Frabetti in the 67th minute of play forced FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper Damiano Mucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinç Dede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto De Marchi having to interfere. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sami Khedira was substituted for Augusto Graziani. FC Aquile Azzurre made a substitution. Carlo Borgatello replaced Dinç Dede. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campania Ponticelli's goalkeeper Fausto De Marchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes Campania Ponticelli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sami Khedira who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Campania Ponticelli's goalie and right to Fabrizio Petrucci. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Campania Ponticelli's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Campania Ponticelli made a substitution. Armando Miconi replaced Dave Allegretti. Carlo Borgatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto De Marchi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Alexander Frabetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Sami Khedira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fausto De Marchi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlo Borgatello took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto De Marchi. Fausto De Marchi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6.
The Campania Ponticelli supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Aquile Azzurre's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Aquile Azzurre.
