Cai Yuan Yuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Baltasar Matias made a huge save. In the 13th minute of the match MZ Fénix got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aras Görkem Kaymaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 17th minute VB-Team were awarded a corner. Hafız Öztekin went to the cornerflag to take it. Baltasar Matias was a little too slow when Cai Yuan Yuan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Shao Kun Yuan charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shao Kun Yuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Shao Kun Yuan. 28 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Matias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Shao Kun Yuan in the 30 minute of the game. Ivan Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hafız Öztekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafız Öztekin in the 37th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Nicolás Tauber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VB-Team were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
