After having played for 3 minutes, Villiam Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Pole Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villiam Tholsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaut Mazieres came free, but Folke Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lorenzo Insigne fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Pole Kickers's protests and gave Lorenzo Insigne a yellow card for diving instead. Villiam Tholsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Sabri Fouquet 12 minutes into the match. North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sabri Fouquet. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Villiam Tholsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabri Fouquet having to make a save. Folke Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Michel Blandin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Pointe Courte! When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sabri Fouquet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Wallman during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Jan Wallman. In the 37th match minute, La Pointe Courte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patxi Seux to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Pointe Courte's zone, Jan Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Fouquet came out of the goal and Jan Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villiam Tholsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sabri Fouquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Villiam Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Pole Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Villiam Tholsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Fouquet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villiam Tholsson got free with Sabri Fouquet in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, Villiam Tholsson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet. Sabri Fouquet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thibaut Mazieres to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, North Pole Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Insigne to maneuver through the defense. In the 58thth minute of the game Villiam Tholsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabri Fouquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Tholsson in the 61st minute of play. If Villiam Tholsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Insigne notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet. Sabri Fouquet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The North Pole Kickers fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. North Pole Kickers's Anders Byström was substituted for Lorenzo Insigne. After 92 minutes of play, North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabri Fouquet was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anders Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Ahlroht hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. North Pole Kickers had played much better football throughout.
