Hugon Czaplicki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but William Moraes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hieronim Babicki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flávio Netto went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luís Fernando Paes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Wojciech Daszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Siqueira came free, but Hieronim Babicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryszard Tyski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Santana in the 21st minute of play forced BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's goalkeeper Hieronim Babicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hieronim Babicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kazimierz Roman kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tomasz Madej hit a great ball. Hieronim Babicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Tyski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. William Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Anderson Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internazionale-RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Porto to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Ebi Smolarek put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of William Moraes. In the 43rd minute, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Ebi Smolarek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind William Moraes. William Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 46 minutes into the game, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Ebi Smolarek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
After a rather tough play, BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Wincenty Rakowski got a free kick in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazimierz Roman during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Hieronim Babicki, was totally fooled by Internazionale-RS's Vitinho Siqueira, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 63rd minute, Wojciech Daszkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Narciso dos Santos. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Daszkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ebi Smolarek went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Matthías Sammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ebi Smolarek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Ebi Smolarek in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Internazionale-RS's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Ebi Smolarek came free, but William Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ebi Smolarek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. Internazionale-RS's William Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ebi Smolarek in the 93rd minute of play. William Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthías Sammer in the 94th minute of the match. If Luís Fernando Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes in the game, Bruno Santana fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hieronim Babicki having to interfere. BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Internazionale-RS for a fine match.
