U.C.MILÁN's Salomón Oyuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Dionísio in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Botasso came free, but Luan Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luan Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Botasso in the 16th minute of play. S S Palestra Italia's Luan Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liberto Mowat in the 17th minute of play. Caetano Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Botasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luan Trigo. S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Salomón Oyuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Botasso came free, but Luan Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Salomón Oyuela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeferson Pinheiro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Luan Trigo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by U.C.MILÁN's Cristian Botasso. But to his dismay, Cristian Botasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jose Maria Rossel took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luan Trigo. Luan Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Michel da Silva fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S S Palestra Italia's protests and gave Michel da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Michel da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Cristian Botasso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luan Trigo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Liberto Mowat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liberto Mowat in the 39th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Luan Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, S S Palestra Italia's Luisão Queirós got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liberto Mowat to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Liberto Mowat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luan Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Jose Maria Rossel in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luan Trigo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. U.C.MILÁN were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after S S Palestra Italia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Botasso took the corner. After 56 played minutes U.C.MILÁN got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Manzur. Liberto Mowat in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luan Trigo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jeferson Pinheiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 64 minutes, Liberto Mowat made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. S S Palestra Italia's Luan Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. S S Palestra Italia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Botasso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Caetano Santana hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, U.C.MILÁN's Cristian Botasso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 80th match minute, U.C.MILÁN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Maria Rossel to maneuver through the defense. José Vítor Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salomón Oyuela having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Elias Gouveia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luan Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Gouveia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luan Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luan Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Botasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over U.C.MILÁN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S S Palestra Italia throughout the match.
