Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Queirós to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bene Animatus booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bene Animatus's Pedrinho Meirelles got a free kick in the 24th minute. Nilton Trigo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Henrique Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luan Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Santos. In the 34th match minute, Bene Animatus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Bene Animatus's Henrique Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Koehler in the 40th minute of play.

José Vítor Santos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Henrique Tavares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Henrique Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Santos's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Abel Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bene Animatus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Caetano Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germano Koehler might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrique Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germano Koehler ran back to his position shaking his head. José Vítor Santos spun around in front of the goal 70 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bene Animatus's goal. In the 85th minute, Germano Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Gerber hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in S S Palestra Italia's zone, Natã Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Trigo came out of the goal and Natã Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
