Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Baptiste Lasogga to make the kick off. Gheorghe Basarab's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Jarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Jean-Baptiste Lasogga succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toader Arotăriței in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Jarstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 played minutes Vorwärts Lübeck got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Baptiste Lasogga. In the 82nd play minute Jean-Baptiste Lasogga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Petre Baicea. 4-2. Ronny Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Tapalagă in the 87th minute of play. Ronny Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Gavrilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vorwärts Lübeck's Bernhard Stammler got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 94 minutes, Finnbogi Berkenheger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorwärts Lübeck and the Balavanis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Balavanis booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finnbogi Berkenheger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes, Balavanis's Marin Gavrilă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronny Jarstein came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Balavanis reached it.
