Orlando Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Picles de Pepino's Vágner Brasil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Picles de Pepino's zone, Basílio Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Nascimento came out of the goal and Basílio Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Picles de Pepino's goalkeeper Orlando Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orlando Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Silveira's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The Jacuitiba - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Basílio Silveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Orlando Nascimento came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's Basílio Silveira. But to his dismay, Basílio Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The audience was convinced that Basílio Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Nascimento was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 31 minutes Picles de Pepino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Augusto Palmeira who took care of the corner kick. Tao Zhou Ke took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Nascimento. Orlando Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Diamantino Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Basílio Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Nascimento was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tao Zhou Ke was the one to do the kick off. Picles de Pepino's Orlando Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Silveira in the 51st minute of play. Orlando Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Silveira's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Orlando Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamantino Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Matorin in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Brasil in the 80th minute of play forced Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Diamantino Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tao Zhou Ke sent off a good shot on target. Tao Zhou Ke spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Picles de Pepino's goal. After 93 played minutes Jacuitiba - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tao Zhou Ke. After some careless play in the Picles de Pepino defense, Basílio Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Nascimento. The Picles de Pepino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Nascimento should have stopped the shot. The Jacuitiba - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jacuitiba - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
