The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enzo Nevada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bob Leckie's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Bob Leckie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Nevada. BloodHounds F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bob Leckie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Bob Leckie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Nevada. Bob Leckie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rod Devlin hit a great ball. Bob Leckie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Nevada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, BloodHounds F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Meder to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Leckie in the 30th minute of play. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Rayman in the 31st minute of play. Bob Leckie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Enzo Nevada made a huge save. The supporters of BloodHounds F.C. booed when Gavião Kyikatejê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Leckie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavião Kyikatejê's Rod Devlin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Gavião Kyikatejê's Bob Leckie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Nevada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Aurre made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Finlay Todd got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 56th play minutes Bob Leckie shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Enzo Nevada and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Aurre got free with Sitthachat Jampeehom in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Ambrosio Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Gavião Kyikatejê's Bob Leckie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Nevada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 67 minutes of play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Bob Leckie made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Nevada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Nevada came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Gavião Kyikatejê's Bob Leckie. But to his dismay, Bob Leckie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. The supporters of BloodHounds F.C. booed when Gavião Kyikatejê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Leckie didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nick McVean hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Nick McVean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gavião Kyikatejê booed when BloodHounds F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Biaggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Gavião Kyikatejê's Bob Leckie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bob Leckie struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Enzo Nevada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavião Kyikatejê.
