Walme Ortega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Raik Topuz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walme Ortega. CD Boiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raik Topuz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 31st minute, Medero Gadea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to CD Boiro getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jerrold Valdivia hit a great ball. Patrick Knechtli made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Firman Galdamez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dany Wiesenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raik Topuz took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walme Ortega. Walme Ortega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raik Topuz to make the kick off.
