The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Pepe Saron got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Municipal's goalkeeper Marko Orellan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goalkeeper Marko Orellan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomáš Močarník. Roman Beck hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Arnulfo Camus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondrej Fratrič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibor Košč charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tibor Košč the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Viktor Semeno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marko Orellan. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Ondrej Fratrič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 34th minute of the match. After 34 played minutes FC Stinking Dogs got a freekick which was hit by Erik Telka. 35 minutes into the match, FC Stinking Dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Camus came free, but Ondrej Fratrič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes FC Stinking Dogs got a freekick which was hit by Roman Beck. Tomáš Močarník fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Orellan having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

CD Municipal's Saka Muelas suffered a concussion in the 51st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Ján Mečiar's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ján Mečiar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when FC Stinking Dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ján Mečiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pepe Burris hit a great ball. Viktor Semeno struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Marko Orellan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stinking Dogs. FC Stinking Dogs's Ondrej Fratrič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Stinking Dogs from getting a goal against them. In the 70th play minute Ongile Gavilanes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ondrej Fratrič. 1-2. Rastislav Schvarzbacher's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rastislav Schvarzbacher helped the player get up and apologised. Ondrej Fratrič made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 76th minute of play. Marko Orellan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Semeno went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Jeraldo Ascazua succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 86th playminute. Ondrej Fratrič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fix Bolonga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeraldo Ascazua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ondrej Fratrič made a huge save. The CD Municipal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Stinking Dogs from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
