Eustaquio Tiadoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dalmacio Paublo made a huge save. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Froila in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Maria. Tomás Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Froila, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Froila came free, but Tomás Maule reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Bendito Sea El Fernet defense, Jacobo Froila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Maule. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Maule should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when Bendito Sea El Fernet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jacobo Froila put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Maule. Jacobo Froila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Maule read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Bendito Sea El Fernet got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Igon. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Tomás Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Froila in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Jacobo Froila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anjullan AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Bendito Sea El Fernet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Igon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bendito Sea El Fernet fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The score was 0-6 after a penalty in the 59th minute, where Anjullan AFC:s Jacobo Froila tricked Bendito Sea El Fernet:s Tomás Maule with a difficult ball by the left post. Tomás Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Froila in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Froila came free, but Tomás Maule reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Froila in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Jacobo Froila dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomás Maule, 0-7. Anjullan AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Gentiletti in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Matias Aurken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Tipi came free, but Dalmacio Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Orlando Millrick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anjullan AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bendito Sea El Fernet the free kick. Anjullan AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
