The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper Opdebeeck should have stopped the shot. Antonio Eggers hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Jasper Opdebeeck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldemar Tipinski. When Jakub Balkiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fifth Chicken's protests and gave Jakub Balkiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fifth Chicken getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jakub Balkiewicz hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Waldemar Tipinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fifth Chicken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

FC Bruges's Jasper Opdebeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Tipinski in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Waldemar Tipinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jasper Opdebeeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 61 minutes into the match, Fifth Chicken's Waldemar Tipinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jasper Opdebeeck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Czeszyk came free, but Jasper Opdebeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jasper Opdebeeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Büyükada in the 81st minute of the match. Henri-Patrick Van Dyck hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jasper Opdebeeck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fifth Chicken had won after a very even match.
