Iron Maiden FC's Pirro Blazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Maziarz in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Radowit Maziarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pirro Blazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Varsovia defense, Janick Geers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugeniusz Borowski. The Varsovia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugeniusz Borowski should have stopped the shot.
