In the 4th minute, Angelo Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Steffens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Maria in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luís Eger saved Corti from getting behind. After 11th play minutes Angelo Maria shot 1-1, a short shot which went by André Luís Eger and just under the crossbar into goal. With his leg André Luís Eger managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Vascogoianiense FC's Angelo Maria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Corti's André Luís Eger got control of the ball when Angelo Maria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Steffens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Diguinho de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vascogoianiense FC the free kick. After having played for 32 minutes, Olavo Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olavo Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Steffens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Vascogoianiense FC got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Quirino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho de Azevedo in the 39th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Robert Steffens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Luís Eger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, João Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vascogoianiense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luís Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diguinho de Azevedo to make the kick off. The corner ended in Jacinto Pinto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vascogoianiense FC's Robert Steffens did a great save. If Angelo Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Eger having to interfere. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vascogoianiense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacinto Pinto was slow to take the kick. During this time Corti's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Vascogoianiense FC's Robert Steffens got control of the ball when Ali Emir Ayık tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diguinho de Azevedo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Steffens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Angelo Maria sped through Corti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Luís Eger. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Corti's goalkeeper André Luís Eger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Loyola during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Corti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Loyola to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Angelo Maria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luís Eger was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After 86th play minutes Angelo Maria shot 4-1, a short shot which went by André Luís Eger and just under the crossbar into goal. João Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Steffens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Loyola in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vascogoianiense FC.
