After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Luiz Moreira got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nelson da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reginaldo Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Otávio Arce scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Secco. Valdemar Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão de Amaral having to interfere. Nelson da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Prata in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Social Futebol Clube's Basílio Paraibano got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Reginaldo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Nelson da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Teixeira in the 37th minute of play. Reginaldo Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Nelson da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E. Cachoeirinha. The wind increased when Basílio Paraibano made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Basílio Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Social Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Salles hit a great ball. Vitinho Leme hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nelson da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Luiz Fabiano Prata came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nelson da Silveira could save by the left post. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Edinho Mello hit a great ball. Gustavo Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Moreira in the 79th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Teixeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelson da Silveira, 1-5. After 93 minutes of play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Reginaldo Teixeira made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson da Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! S.E. Cachoeirinha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
