When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertino Brites made a kick off. Noel Castanheira might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Ángel Ortiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Castanheira ran back to his position shaking his head. Noel Castanheira struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Miguel Ángel Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
