Kral Çakır might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Tarulli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kral Çakır ran back to his position shaking his head. Kral Çakır came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernardo Tarulli could save by the left post. Bernardo Tarulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiu Xi Wen in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Kral Çakır cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bernardo Tarulli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kral Çakır who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Tarulli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Club Atlethico Talleres's Bernardo Tarulli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlethico Talleres from getting a goal against them. Iwan Zdrojowy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Karl-Erik Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Fernanco made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arsenio Jakobe. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Karl-Erik Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Quinten in the 69th minute of the match.
