The audience was convinced that Kaká Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ma Yong Jun was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Arvid Springfält charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 19th minute of the match Karen FC got a corner. Sagarana Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Lindmark ran over to the corner to take the kick. Karen FC's Emil Lindmark was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldo Abraão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Noel Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Rosa came free, but Ma Yong Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's Osvaldo Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Springfält in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Kaká Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Bebeto Moura heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jan-Åke Andreasson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun got control of the ball when Noel Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 51 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Kaká Rosa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ma Yong Jun was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cafu Filho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sagarana Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Filho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ma Yong Jun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arvid Springfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Noel Coelho made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ma Yong Jun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Filho in the 65th minute of play. Noel Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cafu Filho took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ma Yong Jun. Ma Yong Jun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 75 minutes into the match, Cafu Filho notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun. Ma Yong Jun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 80 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Moura. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Kaká Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ma Yong Jun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kaká Rosa hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Sagarana Clube's Kaká Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ma Yong Jun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Noel Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ma Yong Jun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Sagarana Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
