With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Thomson in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Lucas saved SALIMEN from getting behind. Raymundo Naylor's late challenge caught a SALIMEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymundo Naylor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Golden Hills's Raymundo Naylor got a free kick in the 10th minute. Hélder Duarte hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Golden Hills got a corner. SALIMEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sandy Hollandsworth ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Golden Hills's corner Sandy Hollandsworth fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giovanni Lucas quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, SALIMEN's Douglas de Lara got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes, Ronald Thomson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Hills and the SALIMEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronald Thomson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Dantas in the 31st minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Ivan Steiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Josh Castaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Miguel Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Ronald Thomson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Thomson came free, but Giovanni Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Golden Hills were awarded a corner. Sandy Hollandsworth went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Golden Hills's Sandy Hollandsworth to fire away a dangerous shot which Giovanni Lucas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dadá Rocha scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Steiner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giovanni Lucas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Thomson's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jeremias Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. SALIMEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Steiner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giovanni Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Thomson in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to SALIMEN getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Noel Couto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Thomson in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Lucas saved SALIMEN from getting behind. Giovanni Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Zuniga, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Golden Hills getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ronald Thomson hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Raymundo Naylor made a precise shot to the right of Giovanni Lucas. SALIMEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Thomson in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Lucas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th match minute, SALIMEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Thomson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Thomson in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Lucas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Douglas de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ronald Thomson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Golden Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Thomson couldn't finish the play. Dadá Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Ivan Steiner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Thomson in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Lucas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85thth minute of the game Ronald Thomson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SALIMEN's Giovanni Lucas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Hélder Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SALIMEN's Giovanni Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Thomson in the 91st minute of play. Ivan Steiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Dantas in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Golden Hills's Ronald Thomson got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
