The Cadáveres Voladores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Flor should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Luisinho Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tio Patinhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadáveres Voladores the free kick. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Geraldo Miranda took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Artemio Flor to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th minute Evaristo Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Barral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artemio Flor came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Barral slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. Cadáveres Voladores's Artemio Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Barral in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Tio Patinhas booed when Cadáveres Voladores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Berdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cadáveres Voladores's Artemio Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Miranda in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Geraldo Miranda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artemio Flor. Geraldo Miranda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0.

Artemio Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Miranda in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Walmir Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Peres in the 57th minute of play forced Cadáveres Voladores's goalkeeper Artemio Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tio Patinhas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmir Peres during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Tio Patinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Peres to maneuver through the defense. Tio Patinhas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
