An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Iban in the 33rd minute of play forced UD ZAS's goalkeeper España Fanego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. España Fanego made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Emilio Lucado sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Vinicio Florin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but España Fanego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. España Fanego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UD ZAS's España Fanego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save UD ZAS from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinicio Florin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luis Iban scored 7-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of España Fanego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. España Fanego came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahía é Carnaval's Vinicio Florin. But to his dismay, Vinicio Florin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. UD ZAS's España Fanego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Iban in the 80th minute of play.
