Belmiro Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Petter Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 5th minute. Thiago Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Paris San Duíche's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Rosendahl came free, but Thiago Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Berger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stormur Muren came out and tried to block the shot, but Elano Berger slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. The supporters of Paris San Duíche booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paris San Duíche's Thiago Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Asplund in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Rodrigo Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paris San Duíche and the Kind of Blue players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Åke Rosendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris San Duíche's Thiago Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Petter Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petter Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Pihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Åke Rosendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris San Duíche's Thiago Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Lennart Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elano Berger to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmílson Queirós hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thiago Batista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Rosendahl in the 54th minute. In the 65th minute, Lennart Pihlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Åke Rosendahl in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Batista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paris San Duíche's Thiago Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Paris San Duíche from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno de Andrade in the 74th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Stormur Muren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deivid Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deivid Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Paris San Duíche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Machado to maneuver through the defense. Fredric Botvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thiago Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christer Bagge fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Christer Bagge a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Christer Bagge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th play minute Åke Rosendahl came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thiago Batista. 1-1. Thiago Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Åke Rosendahl went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kind of Blue played a much better game than Paris San Duíche and deserved their victory. The Paris San Duíche players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
