Candido Gallegos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gabriel Kabát hit a great ball. Candido Gallegos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Tauro Massú scored 3-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Šindler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute of the match, Viktor Minár tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Candido Gallegos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Viktor Minár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Candido Gallegos made a huge save. Candido Gallegos made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Dušan Vlach sent off a good shot on target. Deportivo Lirayén's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Viktor Minár scored to the left of an out of position Candido Gallegos, making the score, 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tauro Massú to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlach in the 51st minute of play forced Deportivo Lirayén's goalkeeper Candido Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Gallegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Minár in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Gabriel Kabát made a precise shot to the right of Candido Gallegos. Deportivo Lirayén's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Minár in the 60th minute of play forced Deportivo Lirayén's goalkeeper Candido Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on FC Kukova's corner Dušan Vlach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Candido Gallegos quite easily take care of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Deportivo Lirayén's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlach came free, but Candido Gallegos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Gallegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Vlach in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Lirayén's Jose Esteban Rosende got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes, FC Kukova's Dušan Vlach shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Candido Gallegos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Candido Gallegos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1. Viktor Minár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jose Esteban Rosende fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Lirayén's protests and gave Jose Esteban Rosende a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Esteban Rosende kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Gabriel Kabát shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Gallegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Lirayén defense, Viktor Minár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Gallegos. The Deportivo Lirayén fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Gallegos should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Kukova fully deserved thier win.
