The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão de Brito during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luizão de Brito hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Caco Silveira came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by U. de Tarapacá's Paco Raab. But to his dismay, Paco Raab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Juan José J.J. had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Raab, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Juan José J.J. hit a great ball. Caco Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Raab in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, U. de Tarapacá's Uriel Diaz Montero got control of the ball when Luizão de Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Paco Raab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Caco Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan José J.J., who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes Chinho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baldomiro Angellotti who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Baudelio Abello managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Uriel Diaz Montero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Zé Paraense lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Uriel Diaz Montero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan José J.J. in the 43rd minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Caco Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Marcelo Maige, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizão de Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Chinho FC's Almir de Andrade got a free kick in the 51st minute. Baldomiro Angellotti struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Caco Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. Chinho FC's Caco Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Chinho FC from getting a goal against them. Caco Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Marcelo Maige in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Marcelo Maige got free with Caco Silveira in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 played minutes Chinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Ataka Krieser. In the 58th minute of the match, Paco Raab got a very nice opportunity to score, but Caco Silveira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. U. de Tarapacá's Uriel Diaz Montero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paraense in the 66th minute of play. Uriel Diaz Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ataka Krieser in the 73rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Baldomiro Angellotti from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Caco Silveira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 82nd minute, U. de Tarapacá's José Marcelo Maige ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caco Silveira. Caco Silveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Sezen Taşkın was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Sezen Taşkın got a free kick in the 85th minute. U. de Tarapacá's Uriel Diaz Montero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paraense in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chinho FC defense, José Marcelo Maige kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caco Silveira. The Chinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caco Silveira should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute José Marcelo Maige shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chinho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U. de Tarapacá's performance. The match ended with a win for U. de Tarapacá.
