To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Fabian Oliveiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavol Kresák made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nestor Beltza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Fabian Oliveiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antón Kočiš to make the kick off. Pavol Kresák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Oliveiro in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Nestor Beltza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Pivnica the free kick. The audience was convinced that Fabian Oliveiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavol Kresák was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Pavol Kresák made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Mazer in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the UFC Pivnica defense, Guilherme Mazer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavol Kresák. The UFC Pivnica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavol Kresák should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
