In the 5th minute Jaime Sweeney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Sweeney struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Horacio Diagur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inmortales FC. In the 15th minute Jaime Sweeney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrett Fournier in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to AKD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Adolfo Gonsalve hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Inmortales FC's Denis Vega broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 27 minutes into the match, AKD's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Sweeney came free, but Horacio Diagur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inmortales FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denis Vega in the 29th minute. Inmortales FC's Denis Vega was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horacio Diagur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Horacio Diagur came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Inmortales FC's Jarrett Fournier. But to his dismay, Jarrett Fournier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, AKD's Mikus Bānis got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Jaime Sweeney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Diagur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The AKD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inmortales FC were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarrett Fournier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Jaime Sweeney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Diagur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jarrett Fournier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Jarrett Fournier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Modesto Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AKD made a substitution. Lisandro Niva replaced Anibal Rafel. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when AKD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Niva didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AKD getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paulino Gonzo hit a great ball. Horacio Diagur was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Jaime Sweeney capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Sweeney really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Daniele Boffa hit a great ball. Horacio Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Sweeney, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. AKD's Horacio Diagur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Sweeney in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AKD's Adolfo Gonsalve got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, AKD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Gonsalve to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Inmortales FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AKD.
