After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal's zone, Alex Jágr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Bejgier came out of the goal and Alex Jágr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feijo Freire blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugon Bejgier having to make a save. When Bořek Kalista came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bořek Kalista couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Feijo Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 minutes, Krzysztof Frodyma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal and the Golden Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Feijo Freire put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Hugon Bejgier. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ksawery Cuber to strike the kick off in the second half. Bořek Kalista struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Bořek Kalista got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hugon Bejgier handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Hugon Mondrowski's late challenge caught a Golden Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugon Mondrowski helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Bořek Kalista sped through Arsenal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugon Bejgier. In the 69th minute, Feijo Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugon Bejgier came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Míchal slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 93rd minute. 98 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goalkeeper Hugon Bejgier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Drahoslav Kačer. When the match was over Golden Tigers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arsenal throughout the match.
