Spencer Shearer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PHOENIX SC. Gofar Jayadiningrat scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Spencer Shearer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's goal looked a bit too open when Gofar Jayadiningrat came free, but Spencer Shearer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PHOENIX SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Soleh Al-Habsy in the 10th minute. PHOENIX SC's Soleh Al-Habsy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Spencer Shearer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 13th match minute, ARMENIAN 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Richter to maneuver through the defense. Spencer Shearer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobiasz Bienienda went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gofar Jayadiningrat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes in the game Silas Villanueva did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kip Jeffries. If Gofar Jayadiningrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, ARMENIAN 11's goal looked a bit too open when Gofar Jayadiningrat came free, but Spencer Shearer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by ARMENIAN 11's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Soleh Al-Habsy was slow to take the kick. During this time PHOENIX SC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of ARMENIAN 11 booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gofar Jayadiningrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ARMENIAN 11 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Napoleon Richmond hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, PHOENIX SC's Soleh Al-Habsy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Spencer Shearer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PHOENIX SC reached it. In the 38th minute, Gofar Jayadiningrat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spencer Shearer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobiasz Bienienda in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spencer Shearer saved ARMENIAN 11 from getting behind. Francis Murtopo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lloyd Urbina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and C.J. Torres made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gofar Jayadiningrat managed to get in a good position for a shot. PHOENIX SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gofar Jayadiningrat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spencer Shearer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ARMENIAN 11's Jerry Richter got a free kick in the 61st minute. With an all-out effort, PHOENIX SC's Spencer Shearer threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobiasz Bienienda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gofar Jayadiningrat got free with Spencer Shearer in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ARMENIAN 11's C.J. Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ARMENIAN 11 made a substitution. Joshua Fitzgerald replaced Tanner Barnes. ARMENIAN 11 made a substitution. Merle Mansfield replaced C.J. Torres. In the 73rd minute Tobiasz Bienienda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spencer Shearer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Bienienda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Spencer Shearer made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Tobiasz Bienienda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The PHOENIX SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
