If Alexandre Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hristo Stoichkov to strike the kick off in the second half. Enex's Argir Georgiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homero Igrejas in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes, Yuli Muletarov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enex and the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. booed when Enex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuli Muletarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Serafim Ferkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
