The referee ignored Övertorneå RK's protests and gave Torbjörn Enström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Övertorneå RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Enström to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Rareș Ţeica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iordache Donici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Stefan Målare made a huge save. Stefan Målare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Donici in the 44th minute. The Valar's Andrei Davidescu got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Övertorneå RK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Torbjörn Enström hit a great ball. Stefan Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Becheanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Rareș Ţeica might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Målare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rareș Ţeica ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Harry Karlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Vladimirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Iordache Donici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Valar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The Valar's Rareș Ţeica got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Målare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Ţeica in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Iordache Donici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ion Otopeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Gică Popescu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Popescu in the 96th minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Stefan Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Gică Popescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Stefan Målare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Valar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
