The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, 61 PIMMS FC's Alessandro Costacurta got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, 61 PIMMS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Miñaca came free, but Mehmet Ediz Ulutay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Arévalo Miñaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 61 PIMMS FC's Mehmet Ediz Ulutay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute Jérémy Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ediz Ulutay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Félix Torres was slow to take the kick. During this time Barcelona de América's players had a chance to rest. In the 44th minute, Denis Nisipeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Jérémy Sarmiento notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of 61 PIMMS FC's Mehmet Ediz Ulutay. Mehmet Ediz Ulutay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jérémy Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Villon in the 79th minute of play forced 61 PIMMS FC's goalkeeper Mehmet Ediz Ulutay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elias Villon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Barcelona de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Villon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aslan Icardi in the 82nd minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Emiliano Urbilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
