The Last Try
Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) TZITZIFIES's Fu Lin Liang started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hernan Eron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louis Pirovolikos went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Benicio Felipillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iosif Labriakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in El ultimo's zone, Louis Pirovolikos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Eron came out of the goal and Louis Pirovolikos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Lin Liang came free, but Hernan Eron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis Pirovolikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hernan Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Pirovolikos in the 38th minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Hernan Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El ultimo's Hernan Eron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Pirovolikos in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TZITZIFIES's Fu Lin Liang got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, TZITZIFIES's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Felipillo came free, but Iosif Labriakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 50 minutes into the match, Fu Lin Liang notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of El ultimo's Hernan Eron. Hernan Eron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Lore to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, TZITZIFIES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofanis Trigonakis to maneuver through the defense. El ultimo's Hernan Eron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save El ultimo from getting a goal against them. Hernan Eron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fu Lin Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Eron came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by TZITZIFIES's Fu Lin Liang. But to his dismay, Fu Lin Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a little luck, El ultimo's Hernan Eron got control of the ball when Louis Pirovolikos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iosif Labriakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoros Chatzidis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. TZITZIFIES's Iosif Labriakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Stanislao in the 80th minute of play. Hernan Eron came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by TZITZIFIES's Paschalis Kastanoulis. But to his dismay, Paschalis Kastanoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Louis Pirovolikos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Hernan Eron made a huge save. Hernan Eron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraklis Bountouris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, TZITZIFIES's Fu Lin Liang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Eron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The referee felt a red card was in order, 99 minutes into the game, when Amador Gurutz put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in El ultimo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 99th minute. Penalty! El ultimo:s Hernan Eron showed great skill when he stopped Fu Lin Liang:s penalty. TZITZIFIES played a much better game than El ultimo and deserved their victory. The El ultimo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
