The Carpathians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Carpathians were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Zanette made a kick off. Iacob Biriș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Zanette in the 52nd minute of the match. Dráuzio Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, TIMETER EC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Proença to maneuver through the defense. After 56th play minutes Dorel Pipirig shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Betinho Paiva and just under the crossbar into goal. After 59 played minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Peres. 60 minutes into the game, Raphael Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd rose to their feet as Carpathians's Dorel Pipirig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betinho Paiva. That made the score 0-6 after 77 minutes of play. 80 minutes into the match, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Betinho Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorel Pipirig. The supporters of Carpathians booed when TIMETER EC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpathians's Anton Beton was substituted for Horaţiu Encuțescu. After 82 played minutes TIMETER EC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Allan Monteiro. Betinho Paiva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvatore Schillaci showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. After 89 minutes, Dorel Pipirig made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Betinho Paiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dorel Pipirig spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carpathians had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
