In the 46th match minute, GALATASARAY O.Z. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolunay Temizel to maneuver through the defense. 27 de Mayo's Ponce Cruzado couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GALATASARAY O.Z..

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Emrullah Toygun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Claudinei Tasso made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Birol Zekai. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökçen Kulan in the 70th minute of play forced 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 27 de Mayo booed when GALATASARAY O.Z. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Riise didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Jarne Vrancken got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute Jarne Vrancken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Birol Zekai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Jarne Vrancken recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Birol Zekai. Jarne Vrancken showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The 27 de Mayo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
