In the 25th minute, Abuba Akotonon FC's Luka Langoni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filinto Palhares. Filinto Palhares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Filinto Palhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luka Langoni in the 30th minute of play. Emilio Jakue charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Jakue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Emilio Jakue got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's Luka Langoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filinto Palhares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Viveiros came free, but Felix Frans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abuba Akotonon FC's Felix Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Ventura in the 40th minute of play. Felix Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luka Langoni to make the kick off. Quintino Viveiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Frans having to make a save. In the 53rd minute, Dario Sabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Yuri Ventura kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Frans. That made the score 2-3 in the 54 minute of play. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Altamora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higino Carrasqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abuba Akotonon FC's attentive Miguel Munio managed to snatch the ball when Yuri Castanheira made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Felix Frans made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Yuri Ventura sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Altamora FC were awarded a corner. Osvaldo Vasques went to the cornerflag to take it. Altamora FC's Osvaldo Vasques was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felix Frans in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Felix Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintino Viveiros in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Quintino Viveiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Frans was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Altamora FC's zone, Edgardo Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filinto Palhares came out of the goal and Edgardo Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Higino Carrasqueira hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Altamora FC played a much better game than Abuba Akotonon FC and deserved their victory. The Abuba Akotonon FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
